Gettone Group, cooperation with our customer, Admares OY has delivered the first batch of water homes to Dubai Canal – to berth at Marasi Business Bay .
We are happy to announce that Gettone Group Ltd. is involved in this great project by doing the piping, interior and heating, ventilation and air conditioning works.
Luxury water homes float in on time for Cityscape Global 2017 and received a great response. With home after home anchoring in the up-and-coming marina, two of them were open for Cityscape Global visitors and received a great response. A turnkey project for Dubai Properties, the water homes will soon be surrounded by floating restaurants, all of which exclusively manufactured by Admares in the purpose-build facilities located in Rauma, Finland before transported to Dubai and finally towed at Marasi Business Bay. Equipped with the latest technology, the state-of-the-art buildings are the UAE’s first water homes that will feature both pedestrian and boat access, are located at the heart of the marina taking shape at Marasi Business Bay and set to become the development’s main architectural trait. The finished products combine centuries of ship building heritage with cutting-edge design that will forever transform waterfront living in the emirate.
Marasi Business Bay, once complete, will not only feature state-of-the-art water homes that come with pools and are surrounded by floating restaurants, it will also see the Park, the Pier and the Marina that will eventually comprise 800 berths, stretch along the Dubai Canal, making it the region’s first purpose-built yachting hub at the heart of the city, according to Dubai Properties.
The Dh1 billion mixed-use development was unveiled by Dubai Properties Group, a member of Dubai Holding, at Cityscape Global 2016. The firm says the project is “well on track to becoming the city’s most sought-after waterfront destination”. Last month, the larger Business Bay district was ranked among the must-see neighbourhoods in the world by Lonely Planet.
